Prepare to Visit

We are so glad that you have found us!

We hope this page will alleviate any stress that is involved with visiting a new church and answer some commonly asked questions along the way.

We understand that discerning where the Lord is leading you can be fun, however, very exhausting if ongoing for months.

Let’s help you discern this season…

Here are 4 things to consider when looking for a new church:

  1. Commitment to Expository Preaching

You should ask yourself: “Will I learn God’s Word here?”

Why? Because God’s Word grows you, not man’s word or opinion.

  2. Intentional Discipleship Culture

You should ask yourself: “Will I grow in spiritual maturity here?”

Why? The church should be a community that builds each other up through scripture.

  3. Intentional Shepherding

You should ask yourself: “Will I be cared for, led, challenged and grow here?”

Why? Your pastors and congregation should know you deeply.

  4. Clear Mission and Vision

You should ask yourself: “Will I be active in the great commission here?”

Why? The church is not a social club, it should be an army.
